Golden Pyrophyllite Starburst Crystals. An excellent display specimen from the classic American Location. From the estate collection of Barton Bauers. Probably collected in the 1960s or 70s. Bart was a curious fellow. As a member of the Philadelphia Academy of Sciences he was able to collect all of the US. He would catalog his specimens, place them in a wall case and once that wall case was full he would seal it forever. He sealed his final case in 1976.
